Over the last 90 years of Birtley House Group we have applied for various awards and have both won and been finalists for several across multiple care categories. Our ongoing achievements relate to Care and Business in general and we’re proud that they have included awards for ‘Care team of the Year’, and ‘Outstanding contribution to Adult Social Care’.
Our most recent achievements in 2025, 2024 and 2023 included winning the Lottie awards for top 100 Care Home, winning Surrey Care Association Awards for Innovation in the workforce Recruitment and Retention, ranking as finalists for Nursing Home of the Year and Small Team of the Year as well as Care Home Of The Year in 2024.
This added to the Issued to local charity ‘halow project’ who help to manage the kitchen garden for us.
As a business you can’t achieve any of these without evidencing claims and collecting various supporting statements from internal and external sources. In our case, many are built on the experiences of our Residents and their family members, so they’re a great reflection of the impact we have on someone’s life.
