This afternoon we were delighted to welcome the Longacre School Chamber Choir to Birtley and the young pupils entertained 20 Residents with their excellent singing! It was so good in fact that we asked them to sing the songs again and we all had a rousing rendition of Jerusalem as well! Our thanks to Chloe du Pon, Head of Music and to Matthew who accompanied the children on the piano. At the end of their performance the children enjoyed juice, cake and biscuits and then returned to Shamley Green in their minibus.
